How Taxwise protects the information
Taxwise implements a variety of security measure to maintain the safety of client, employee and subcontractor’s personal information.
Clients have a right to access their personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law and Taxwise company policy and procedure. Client’s, employees and subcontractors can make a request to access their information, however may be required to put the request in writing for security reasons. Taxwise reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, clients information on a per request basis.
Disclosing Information to Third Parties
Taxwise does not sell, trade or otherwise transfer clients, employees or subcontractors personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist Taxwise in operating or conducting business, or servicing the client, employee or subcontractor, as long as those parties agree to keep the information confidential. Taxwise also may release information when Taxwise believes release will comply with the law, enforce our policies or protect our rights, property or safety. Non-personally identifiable information however may be used or provided to third parties for marketing or advertising.
